Chaz is responsible for the firm’s strategy and business development. As a subject matter expert on insurance, market data and travel sourcing, Chaz leads negotiations and develops partnerships with leading strategic suppliers. He also takes an active role partnering with KBB’s members on the development and implementation of various operational strategy initiatives.
Prior to co-founding KBB, Chaz served as a Director in the Corporate Strategy group at Lazard. Based in New York, Chaz was responsible for global operating strategy, procurement and implementation of transformational cost reduction initiatives across the investment banking and asset management business segments. He also advised external clients on Technology and IT Services investment banking and restructuring assignments.
Chaz’s background includes a further 12 years of corporate finance and investment banking experience, as well as 8 years of strategy consulting practice with Oliver Wyman and TPI, the global leader in operational strategy and outsourcing advisory solutions. As a Partner at TPI, Chaz led the firm’s financial services practice and executed more than $5 billion in knowledge and business process outsourcing transactions for clients. In this role, he developed strategy and operating models and served as a skillful project manager to guide his clients through successful implementations.
Chaz received his MBA, with High Distinction, from the University of Michigan Business School. He earned his BS from Washington & Lee University.
